Eiji Atsumi works as a Senior Advisor, Invest in Finland, at Business Finland Tokyo office. In his current role, he supports Japanese companies in versatile industry sectors such as high-tech and energy to explore collaboration and investment opportunities in Finland. Prior to joining Business Finland, he was engaged in open innovation intermediary for Japanese manufacturing industries at NineSigma, technology scouting and management for mobile phone business at Nokia, and research and development for imaging technology at Mitsubishi Electric. He earned his MSc, Electrical Engineering, from University of Tokyo. 

渥美　栄司、フィンランド投資部のシニアアドバイザとしてビジネスフィンランド東京オフィスにて活動。ハイテクやエネルギーなど様々な産業領域の日本企業によるフィンランドへの投資や協業機会の探索を支援している。ビジネスフィンランドへは、三菱電機での画像技術の研究開発、ノキアでの携帯電話向け技術のスカウティングとマネージメント、ナインシグマでの日本企業向けオープンイノベーション仲介事業を経て参画。東京大学大学院工学系研究科修士課程（電子工学）専攻。 

Dr. Tommi Suni トンミ・スニ

In his current role, Tommi Suni helps VTT’s customers to benefit from VTT’s technology offering in the field of Microelectronics and Quantum Technologies.  

Prior to his current role at VTT, Dr. Suni was a regional sales director for Japan and Korea for an atomic layer deposition company Picosun (years 2015-2022). Before Picosun, he was working for 15 years (2000-2015) at VTT in various research roles, such as a research team leader and an EU project manager. During that period he spent 1.5 years as a visiting researcher in the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo in Professor Hiroyuki Fujita’s laboratory. Dr. Suni earned his MSc and PhD degrees from Helsinki University of Technology, accomplishing these milestones in years 2001 and 2006, respectively.  

現職では、VTTの顧客がVTTのマイクロエレクトロニクス・量子技術分野の技術提供の恩恵を享受するための支援業務に携わる。  

現職以前は、ALD（原子層堆積）装置メーカーPicosumの日本・韓国地域担当営業部長を務める（2015～2022）。Picosun以前は、VTTにおいて15年にわたり研究チームリーダーやEUプロジェクトマネージャーなどの研究職に従事（2000～2015）、この間に東京大学生産技術研究所教授の藤田浩之研究室に客員研究員として1年半在籍した。2001年、2006年にヘルシンキ工科大学（現アアルト大学）で工学修士号と博士号をそれぞれ取得。

Kengo Tashiro heads the EMEA area operations of Sansha Electric Manufacturing, Helsinki Branch Office (SanRex Europe) since 2017. Sansha Electric Manufacturing is one of the pioneers in manufacturing power semiconductors and power supply products.  

Tashiro has been in the Power Semiconductor industry for more than 15 years. He is especially experienced in driving joint development with Finnish clients. 

電源機器・パワー半導体製造のパイオニアの一つである三社電機製作所ヘルシンキ支店ヘルシンキ支店（SanRex Europe）で、2017年から欧州・中東・アフリカ（EMEA）地域事業を統括。パワー半導体業界で15年以上のキャリアを持つ。特にフィンランドの取引先との共同開発を推進した実績を持つ。

Director, Strategic Initiatives 

Helsinki Partners is the City of Helsinki’s investment promotion, talent attraction and city marketing company. Johanna Huurre leads the Senior Advisors’ team that helps international companies and investors to find opportunities in Helsinki.  

In addition to investment promotion work, Johanna is also a strong advocate of talent attraction and creating new ways to combine investment promotion and talent attraction. Her involvement led to the creation of e.g. the 90 Day Finn programme which has attracted great international attention with its ground-breaking scheme to offer international talent, investors and corporate representatives an opportunity to test life in Helsinki for 90 days. The programme has spurred several new business cases and significantly raised the global awareness of Helsinki.  

Previously, Johanna was leading the marketing, communications and business intelligence team in the investment promotion agency for the capital region of Finland. Her experience also includes work at NGO Fundraising, Advertising, Marketing and Communications agencies.  

ヘルシンキ市の投資促進・人材誘致・都市マーケティング会社「ヘルシンキ・パートナーズ」で、ヘルシンキにおける国際企業・投資家の事業機会の発見を支援するシニアアドバイザーチームを率いる。  

投資促進活動以外にも人材誘致を強力に推進し、投資促進と人材誘致を組み合わせた新しいアプローチを生み出している。ヨハンナが携わった「90デイ・フィン（ 90 Day Finn ）」は、国際的な人材、投資家、企業の代表者に90日間試験的にヘルシンキで生活する機会を提供するという画期的なプログラムとして大きな国際的注目を集めた事例の一つ。このプログラムをきっかけに複数の新規事業事例が誕生し、ヘルシンキの国際的な認知が大幅に向上した。  

フィンランド首都圏の投資促進機関でマーケティング、コミュニケーション、ビジネスインテリジェンスチームを率いた経歴を持つ。また、NGOファンドレイジング、広告、マーケティング、コミュニケーション分野にも従事した。
